Started in Jan 2020, the land used to have a single-family house sit on it. The first draft was to keep the existing building but the structure was not capable of commerical uses. To give respect to the old building, the newly designed one uses only white-themed exterior materials for the entire buildings as seen in the old building.

While the demolition is needed, the trees that rooted on this land was to keep. One of them acts as the protagonist, while others provide shade to the active space and users within.

Rooms on the first floor includes reception area, meeting room, pantry, restrooms with showers and retail/office space. The office space on the ground is designed to be double=spaced with little visual connection to the second floor activities. The space fits various uses such as yoga studio, furniture showroom, small office, and occational events.

The space on the seconf flooe, on the other hand, is a private office, currently for Isometric ourselves. The area comprises open-space workstation, material room, and private offices for executives.

The main private office is located at the front of the building with large window looking at the neighborhood. The office also has access to the balcony with the intention to bring in greenary elements as much as possible, both to minimize the visibility of the activities within the office and to decorate the office and its atmosphere with such elements as well.

The workstation area is quite challenging to construct as we wanted to have as much volume above as possible. All the wires and MEP system is to be not at all convention. Lighting fixtures are limited to wire-based ones and AC duct is to connect through the hugging walls. The result is worth the works. We were able to capture sunlight and create a large working space with high ceiling, increasing the productivity and connectivity of all co-workers.

The hortizontal stripe element at the fence connects the same horizontal facade with the street level, reducing the building presence to a human-level height and providing enough privacy to the ground-floor motion when needed. Otherwise, the fence is expected to be left open during the opening hours as an invitation.
